Dee Best prays for his sins

HE acknowledges that the wages of sin is death and to save himself from eternal destruction, HipHop artiste, Dee Best confesses his sins and asks God for forgiveness in his newest song, Adey Pray.

Adey Pray sees the young musician confess his wayward life and how he intends to turn over a new leaf which identifies with his new lifestyle.

Produced by himself, Adey Pray, a Gospel piece takes listeners through Dee Best’s Casanova exploits and how much he has regretted his past deeds and wants to live right.

On the song, he asks for the anointing of God upon his life to help him overcome his weaknesses in order to do the will of God and preach His word.

Throwing more light on what inspired him to come out with Adey Pray, Dee Best real name Godfred Awagah in an interview with Graphic Showbiz said he had done some shameful things which he finds hard to forget about and believes a song is the right medium to express his feelings.

“God knows I have regretted and I know He will forgive me and make me a new creature to do His will always,” he stated.

According to him, the urge to come out with such a song grew stronger when he was encouraged by a friend to use music to draw people closer to God.

“A friend advised me to do this and after giving it much thought, I realised it was a brilliant idea to preach the word of God and do something different from what I have come to be known for,” he said.

Dee Best who would love to work with Lynx Entertainment is known for songs such as Mene Woa, Far Away, Girl Woa, Wo Pra Me and Chop Make I Chop
