Produced by DopeNkoaa, Choice has Lil Sherif encouraging guys not to easily give up on their “stubborn” partners because while they are ready to send them away from their lives, there are always other men eagerly waiting to win their love.
He sings about how having a successful relationship doesn’t always come on a silver platter and encourages people to work on themselves to grow their relationship.
"It's all about choices, what you don't like is another’s best and that is why someone’s current love is another’s ex. We have a choice to work on what we have or let it go and be a blessing to others. This is basically the focus of Choice and I know many men can relate to its message,” he stated.
Lil Sherif has been around for a while but has not gotten attention for his music over the years. He told Graphic Showbiz that even though his fanbase at Ashaiman is very familiar with Choice, it is his wish to see the song become popular all over the country.
"I have long waited for a time when my music will excel and I feel the time is now with Choice. Unlike my other songs, I put in a lot of effort and time and when this catches on with music audiences, getting attention with other songs will be easier,” he stated.
Born Sherif Abubakar, Lil Sherif, who is best known among his fans as Baalokechi (meaning no time music) is an Afro pop singer and songwriter.
He has earned some awards like the People's Choice and Traditional Song of the Year at the Ashaiman Music Awards in 2018 and 2019.
