Produced by Alpha Beatz, the song, rendered in English and Dangme encourages street children to work hard no matter the challenges they face.
Don Brainy told Graphic Showbiz that every child on the street is working hard to survive and he wants to use music to push them to strive more.
“It’s an inspirational song and its motive is to echo the fact that, hard work pays and they must keep pushing no matter the circumstances. Obstacles may come our way but we must always try to get that end result we are looking for.
“I was inspired by the hustle on the streets; how everyone is pushing hard to survive and all the hurdles one has to overcome in order to make ends meet,” he said
Don Brainy's wish is to make impact with his songs but his major challenge has been financial difficulties since he runs his own affairs. He said though his friends support his work, it is not enough.
“My problem now is financial challenges, I know I have the talent but without money for promotions, no one can see your work. My wish is to touch lives and inspire many with music, that is what I enjoy doing most. I always thank my friends for their financial support. They believe in me and know I can deliver.” he said
Don Brainy believes that the only way to secure himself is to join a good record label that will help him.
“Though I see Lynx Entertainment, Black Avenue Muzuk, High Grade Family and Chocolate City in Nigeria as my favourite record label, every good record label is always welcome,” he said
Born James Teye Tetteh, Don Brainy has been doing music for the past 17 years and has one album and four singles; Big Question, Hope and Pray, Klo Hengme and Love Goes Where Love Is to his credit.
