Such is the story of young Hiplife artiste, Abitie, who lost his parents at a tender age and was abandoned by his family.
With Money a major challenge, Abitie's Career has stalled inspite of his obvious talent. But, he is trying again despite the challenges and has released a single he calls Animoyam which he hopes will help launch his career.
Produced by Myco Beat, Animoyam is pleasing to the ear mainly because of the pitched percussion instruments used. And Abitie uses the track to chronicle his challenges in getting by.
He told Graphic Showbiz that he is hopeful of making it and will one day use his story to inspire others.
"I always want to tell my story using music so I was inspired by my 'hustle' to do this song. It's not easy for me but I am trying my best because I know with God, all things are possible. That is my motto and I still stand by it.
"Anytime I compare where I was to my current state, I see a big difference. I know the future is bright for me and I will work hard to achieve it so I can tell my story to the world and encourage others never to give up because every dream is achievable" he said
Abitie, real name Samuel Agyemang said it was not all bad as he has made good friends who are supporting him with his studio fees and promotion.
"I have good friends who understand me and know my story. They sometimes help me with my studio fees, they have been good to me and I will not forget them. They believe in me and know I can make it because I have a great talent.
"I would like to use this platform to thank my friends. I always pray for God to replenish whatever they spend on me. The only thing I can say is God should bless and strengthen them in their businesses," he said
He appealed to record label to invest in him saying "I have no plan to stop music became the passion I have for it is overwhelming. I find it difficult to finance all my projects so I am appealing to any record to assist me because I know it's business and I won't disappoint them."
