In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Doreen explained that the song came from the Holy Spirit’s impartation as she was meditating on the word of God one day and is meant to encourage people.
"The words of this song didn’t come from me. It's a God sent message and the Holy Spirit gave it to me through meditating on the word of God. The message is to encourage the churches and the good people of the world that the Almighty God we serve is very faithful to mankind,” she said.
Doreen said she hoped to change lives with her songs as she sees the world coming to an end and everyone must give their lives to Christ.
"This is the time we must give our lives
to Christ. I pray and hope that this song will reach a lot of people to change many lives in this country. As we all can see, Jesus will be coming soon so we must repent from our wrong doings. The earlier, the better so we can all make it to heaven.
“I wish it will be accepted by many, it is not about the fame but how the people can receive the words in this song that can help them. That is what I will be proud of, because of that, I always take my time to write songs that will change lives rather than trending,” she said.
Doreen Okyere, who is managed by JC Management Service, discovered her musical talent at the age of 13 when she joined the church choir. She started doing music professionally in 2014 and has one
album titled Onokwafo to her
credit.
