An initiative of Nigerian production company, Unbeatable Family Movies headed by Anosike Kingsley Orji, the competition is seeking to make stars out of young actors across the African continent.
Two winners from participating
countries Ghana, Nigeria, South
Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda and
Burundi, will be signed onto
Unbeatable Family Movies and will
feature in their productions.
Falonzy is competing against
seven other Ghanaians for the two
slots; they were selected from
hundreds of entries after going
through a screening process by
representatives of Unbeatable Family Movies.
He told Graphic Showbiz that his
only chance of grabbing a slot was
through the number of public votes
he earned and pleaded with the public to vote for him and make his
dream come true.
"I can only win this by getting
more votes and I plead with
Ghanaians to show their support by
voting so that I can be among the
two who will be selected from
Ghana,” he said.
The public can vote via a
shortcode provided by the organisers
and also on the SPEAKUPP app. The votes of the contestants can also
be viewed on the app.
Falonzy stated that if he wins, he
would learn from Nigeria on ways to
revive the Ghanaian movie industry.
"Ghanaians should have faith in
me and support me to win the Africa
Next Movie Stars so I can fulfill my
promise of helping to grow the
Ghanaian movie industry and take
African movies to the next level,” he
said.

Richfresh is based in Sekondi in the
Western Region. He has featured in
movies such as Cold, The Reason Why,
The 80's, Ring of the Land, My Mom,
My Wife among
others.
