Deck Miles out with Inna this Life

IN getting inspiration for their music, a number of artistes look to the happenings in their lives and that is what young Afrobeats artiste, Deck Miles has done.

The Odumase Krobo-based musician, who has been through so much in his young life is out with a new track, Inna This Life, which was inspired by his struggles and he hopes to motivate others not to give up no matter the challenges they face.

Produced by Emmy Blaq, Inna This Life chronicles his life, how he suffered during his high school days among other struggles.

Deck Miles also gives God thanks for how far He has brought him and encourages others to pray for the things they want and they will get them.

In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Deck Miles urged young people to take their prayers seriously if they want their dreams to come to pass.

“I expect the youth to pray more. I got inspired to come out with this piece through prayers, I’ve been through a lot in life. It was even hard for me to get food to eat during those days, especially in high school,” he said.

Although he is yet to break into the mainstream, he is well known around the Odumase Krobo area and revealed that he was his own manager.

“From day one, I have financed my career myself, this should tell you how serious I am. Luckily, I am a sound engineer and producer as well so I produce most of my songs. I only spend money on promos, music videos and artworks,” he said.

Going at it alone is definitely not a small thing and that is why Deck Miles is hoping a record label will pick him up. For him, Legacy Life Entertainment, owned by Killbeatz is where he would like to be.

“I am not on any official record label but I formed the Decksmiles Music Records. I wish to join Legacy Entertainment, where King Promise is. I tried contacting them but couldn’t get through. I won’t stop till I get them or heard from them,” he said.

Deck Miles, born Richmond Tettey Isour, also revealed he would love to collaborate with artistes including Medikal, Kuame Eugene, Fameye, Quamina MP and Kofi Mole because he likes their style.

Some of the songs he has to his credit are Odo Yewu, My Darling, Energy, and That Thing.
