Shatta Wale’s controversial ‘Ghana Is A Village” comment has been used by University for Development Studies in their end of Semester Examination.
Students offering Fundamentals of Human Geography were asked to answer questions on Shatta Wale’s “Ghana is a village” comment which he made during his stage performance at the 02 Arena in the United Kingdom, London a few days ago in their end of semester exams.
Shatta Wale during his Reign Album tour compelled patrons present at the 02 Arena in London to label Ghana as a village and social media was on fire when the video went viral.
“Charles Nii Armah Junior,. a Ghanaian Producer and popular dance-hall musician popularly known as ‘Shatta Wale’, recently described Ghana as a ‘village’ during a performance in London. With reference to your knowledge about the development problems of villages, state five reasons why Shatta Wale described the whole of Ghana as a village”.
The above question carries 16 marks and it was obviously easy for students who followed Shatta Wale’s “Ghana is a village” comment a few days ago on social media.
