Akuse Youth Festival 2018

Akuse Youth for Impact Association are here once again to help young people achieve their dreams and bring development to Akuse. Their objectives are,

1. To equip the youth with employable skills and resources

2. To improve and promote social cohesion and unity

3. To increase general awareness among all categories of young people the urgent need to unite and synergize for development

3. To rebrand the Akuse community and make it the investment destination in Lower Manya Krobo District

4. To create the platform for young people to flourish
5. To create a voice for the youth of Akuse and a unified front for progress and development.

The organizers released the Program Line Up for this year's Akuse Youth Festival which starts December 26th and ends on 30th.
Below are the line up for this year's program

Day 1 - Wednesday December 26th

Activity: Float through the principal streets of Akuse township

Starting Point: Akuse Lorry Station

Time: 3pm


Day 2 - Thursday December 27th:

Activities;

8am - 9:30am General Clean up at the Akuse Government Hospital.

11am - 3pm Christmas Party for Akuse Prison inmates


Day 3 - Friday December 28th:

Activity: Football competition (MPs Cup)

 Time: 9am - 5pm

Venue: Akuse Methodist JSS Park


Day 4 - Saturday December 29th:

Activities: Grand durbur

10am - 10:30am Parade by Akuse Presby Boys & Girls Brigade

10:30am - 11am Homecoming & Recognition of Special Guests

11am - 4pm Arts exhibition, Photography, Runway Fashion Show

4pm - TDB Musical concert, Street Jams

Day 5 - Sunday December 30:

Thanksgiving comes at individual place of worship
