Nero X
Joseph Nkrumah Buabeng born on July 6th 1989 at Lagos town, a suburb of Sekondi-Takoradi , popularly known in the showbiz as Nero X is a Ghanaian high-life Singer, Song Writer and a business man from the Western Region of Ghana.
His contribution to music , arts and benevolence to the needy along with his publicized lifestyle has made him one of the favourites in the musical scene in and outside the country Ghana.
The fifth child of Mr Charles Kojo Buabeng and Mrs Mary Taylor made his musical debute at age 11 where he caught the ears of many music lovers when he was part of his church’s youth choir ( Seventh Day Revival Church Of Christ ) .
Nero X started his music career as a rapper and was in a group of 3, the group compromise our current rapper Ayesem and Trazey . In 2005 , He had the chance to feature in a reality show as a debutant, where his struggles couldn’t earn him any award by then.
Five years on, He began his solo career which saw him become second runner up in the reality show “STAR GRAB THE MIC ”.
For vital educational background, he continued his schooling at the Takoradi Polytechnic, now Takoradi Technical University after completing Takoradi Secondary school years back.
In 2013 , Nero X made his 3rd successive appearance in a reality show and this time, he was emerged as the winner . Nero X won ” BORN STARZ ” reality show as a solo Singer and went on to include the theme of the reality show to his music’s as a signature.
In the early 2014’s , Nero X became a dominant figure in high-life music, his beautiful hits and videos including Osey, Frema and Nyimpa Nua are credited with breaking charitable barriers and transforming the medium into an innovative form and promotional tool. Osey (which was produced by WillisBeatz) is arguably his best selling single of all time alongside a couple of songs of his.
With co-feature to most relevant acts in the country including , Kofi Kinaata, Castro, Tinny, Dr Cryme, Okyeame Kwame, Kwame Appiah, Flowking Stone , the future for this undeniable talent is bright.
Nero X has seen himself on many big stages in the country Ghana and overseas, he’s yet to win a national award at the VGMA’s
